Full list of winners at MTV Video Music Awards

Just so all of you know what was hot at the 2011 MTV Music Awards, Katy Perry led the nominations with 10, though the candy-coated pop tart wouldn’t be taking the stage to perform one of her recent 5, #1 hits. There were tributes planned for Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears, while there wouldn’t be a host for the third time in the show’s history.

With all the theatrical performances, surprise guests, and out there fashions, one question remained: who would take home the gold (err, silver)?

Perry took home 3 of her 10 nominations, including the coveted Video of the Year for “Firework”, but it was Adele that led the night with 4 wins. The talented Brit scored big in the professional categories, winning for Direction, Art Direction, Cinematography, and Editing. Lady Gaga was the only other artist to pick up more than one award, collecting two moonmen for her #1 hit “Born This Way”. Other winners included Britney Spears, Beyonce, Tyler, the Creator, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and the Foo Fighters.
